Cycle de Mayo coming to Paso Robles City Park in May
–The Paso Robles City Council recently approved a request for the North County Cycle Peds to hold the annual Cycle de Mayo event in the Downtown City Park on May 6, 2018.
The purpose of this event is to reach out to the community, especially school-age children, to provide bicycle safety education, advocacy, and support for bicycling, and social awareness on the value of bicycling, such as supporting healthy communities and outdoor recreation, and to promote bicycling in the north county. The event components include bike rides, kids’ bike safety training, a BMX show, and numerous bike and healthy-living related activities and information. The event will be free to the public with all cost fundraised by the North County Cycle Peds.
