Update: North River Road closure delayed

– The City of Paso Robles has announced that the planned daytime road closure on North River Road, originally scheduled for Nov. 1, has been delayed to a future date.

Original article posted Oct. 23:

– Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) will close North River Road to all traffic on Saturday, Nov. 1, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to the City of Paso Robles.

The full closure will take place about a half mile north of River Oaks Drive. Drivers are advised to use Wellsona Road and Airport Road as a detour during the closure.

How about a little follow up as to the nature of the work
PGE is doing. It’s a 10 mile detour to get into town via Wellsona Don’t believe that? Measure it yourself.
