    Decorated Air Force veteran to speak at Estrella Warbirds Museum dinner

    Monthly dinner to feature guest speaker Lt. Col. Dan Petkunas

    – The Estrella Warbirds Museum will host its monthly dinner on July 3, featuring guest speaker Lt. Col. Dan Petkunas. Petkunas, a highly decorated U.S. Air Force veteran, will share his experiences from over 200 missions in an F-4 Phantom. His stories will cover topics such as fighter training, burning paint off the wings, divine interventions, close air support for the Army, UFOs, escorting B-52s, and a Navy rescue after ejection.

    The event will include a catered dinner, and reservations are required by 6 p.m. on the Monday prior to the dinner. The cost is $25 per person. Reservations can be made by calling (805) 296-1935 or visiting the museum’s website at www.ewarbirds.org. The no-host bar will open at 5:30 p.m., and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.

    The Estrella Warbirds Museum is located at 4251 Dry Creek Road in Paso Robles, California. It is open Thursday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For Monday holiday hours and general admission information, visit www.ewarbirds.org.
