Deputies arrest two suspects in Nipomo, Templeton burglaries
Evidence in vehicle connected suspects to both locations
– Two Los Angeles men were arrested Tuesday morning in connection with pharmacy burglaries in Nipomo and Templeton, according to the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded at approximately 4:40 a.m. on Nov. 4 to a burglary in progress at a pharmacy in the 600 block of W. Tefft Street in Nipomo. While deputies were on their way, the California Highway Patrol also responded to assist.
When a Highway Patrol officer arrived, the suspects were still at the scene and ran away. After a short foot chase, one suspect was apprehended nearby.
Sheriff’s deputies then arrived and observed a vehicle leaving the area. Deputies initiated a traffic stop and detained the driver, who was the sole occupant.
Detectives later determined that the driver was connected to the Nipomo burglary based on evidence found in the vehicle. Investigators also linked both suspects to another pharmacy burglary that occurred earlier the same morning in the 1300 block of Las Tablas Road in Templeton.
The suspects were identified as Andre Story, 32, and Brandon Williams, 41, both from the Los Angeles area. They were booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail on charges of burglary and conspiracy.
The Sheriff’s Office thanked the California Highway Patrol for its assistance with the response and apprehension.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office Detective Division at (805) 781-4500.
No further information is available at this time.
