Deputies respond to threat at Creston School
San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a verbal threat that was made against the students and staff at Creston Elementary School on Friday morning at 7:56 a.m.
The threat was left on the school’s answering machine, according to authorities. The threat was assessed and appropriate resources responded to the school campus and surrounding area at 5105 O’ Donovan Road in Creston. The investigation determined the threat was generalized and was not directed in any way to a specific individual.
Detectives were able to determine who made the phone call and a juvenile was detained and turned over to the San Luis Obispo County Juvenile Services Division. No one was injured in this incident.
