Design engineers host 21st Street anniversary clean-up day
Volunteers filled up a dumpster with bags of weeds and litter
–To celebrate the two-year anniversary of the completion of the 21st Street Project, Cannon Associates (the City of Paso Robles’ design engineers on the project) organized a volunteer “weeding and clean-up” of 21st Street, from Vine to Riverside, on Saturday, April 30.
About 20 Cannon employees volunteered their Saturday morning from 9 a.m. to noon to perform the work. Using clippers, trowels, spades, and gardening gloves, the crew of filled a dumpster full of bags. They were also joined by city employees Matt Thompson, who brought his family, and Ditas Esperanza. Dave LaCaro made arrangements for the dumpster and provided the bags for the clean-up.
