Dog Jog returns April 16
Event benefits the Paso Robles Sherwood Dog Park
–The public and and their furry, four-legged friends are invited to join Sherwood Dog Park volunteers on a 2k or 4k jog or walk through Vina Robles vineyard at the 8th annual Dog Jog on Saturday, April 16.
After the jog, listen to live music as you enjoy lunch, wine tasting and tour the event expo comprised of local, dog loving vendors, kids’ activities, silent auction and dog contests. Participation in this fundraiser will support the ongoing maintenance and improvements for the Sherwood Dog Park located in Paso Robles. Registration for this event is open.
“What a splendid way to spend time with your dog while jogging through the vineyards at beautiful Vina Robles winery,” says Larry Miller, Sherwood Dog Park’s board member. “The event is filled with activities for the whole family to enjoy. It’s an opportunity to come together as a community, have some fun with your pet and support your local dog park.”
An early registration fee of $25, includes: 2k or 4k jog or walk, commemorative dog bandana, goodie bag, finisher’s medal, a voucher for lunch and Vina Robles wine tasting and event glass for 21 and older participants. Additional lunch or wine tasting will be available for purchase.
Early registration is open now until April 8, when the registration fee will increase to $30 going into the morning of the event. Check-in and morning of registration begins at 9am on Saturday, April 16. The jog begins at 10am. For information or to register for the Dog Jog visit www.parks4pups.org or call (805) 239-9326.
