Doris Lance photography on display at the library

–Local wildflowers and selected trees, shrubs, reeds, rushes and ferns are the theme of Doris Lance’s photographic display in the Paso Robles City Library the month of April. “After relocating to Paso Robles in 2015, my passion and focus has been to walk and/or hike throughout San Luis Obispo County with my trusty camera and backpack,” said Lance. Each photograph on display is identified by scientific name, and common name and where space permits, the location within the county. Lance adds that the exhibit can be used by elementary and secondary science and botany students to assist them in identification and writing about native plants in the area. It can also serve to provide recreational opportunities for families who desire to discover numerous paths and trails near where they live.

The Paso Robles City Library is located at 1000 Spring Street and is open Monday – Friday 10-8, and Saturday 10-5. For more information on library programs and events, please call (805) 237-3870 or visit www.prcity.com/library.
