Downsizing the Greatest Generation and Baby Boomers

-Promoted Article-

– When it’s time to downsize a family home, let a local expert in real estate and estate liquidation sales help unlock the value in a lifetime of accumulated treasures.

As the Greatest Generation passes on, and Baby Boomers move into smaller retirement quarters, sometimes they leave behind a house filled with valuables that would benefit from an estate liquidation sale.Diane Cassidy

Diane Cassidy of Paso Robles, and her team at Golden Oak Estate Sales, have helped dozens of local families earn thousands of dollars through estate sales, downsize their possessions, and get their family homes cleared and ready for sale.

When a family member moves into an assisted living facility, passes on, or is simply moving out of town, Cassidy can step in and help with the process of preparing the estate sale, and then selling the home.

“Sometimes the family doesn’t know how valuable the possessions filling their home are worth” Cassidy says. She researches the value of antiques, fine furniture, estate jewelry, sterling silver, crystal, china, turquoise, porcelain, rare books, so she can help get the best value.

She will organize the estate sale from beginning to end, including marketing the sale and notifying her regular collectors. The value of listing your home with Cassidy is you will only pay a flat rate for the estate sale based on the square footage of your home. Most companies charge between 35- and 45-percent of the proceeds.

Cassidy is the only Certified Estate Liquidator in the area and a Senior Certified Real Estate Agent with REMAX Parkside Real Estate. She has been licensed since 2003. She was certified as a Fine Homes Specialist by a Fortune 500 real estate company in Ventura County. She has spent her career in real estate, mortgage banking, interior design, home staging and estate sales.

Her family serves multiple roles for the company, including bookkeeper, cashier and security. Clients can be assured in the handling of their estate and property.

Families can trust Cassidy and her family-owned business, Golden Oak Estate Sales, because it’s licensed, bonded and insured, and has an excellent reputation.

“I can’t say enough about the wonderful service provided by Diane and her crew at Golden Oak Estate Sales,” a client recently wrote. “I had to sell my mom’s house and furnishings. The house sold a lot faster than I had anticipated and I was left with very little time to find new homes for her belongings. Diane provided a clear explanation of what she would do, how she would advertise and additional services available to me should I need them. Over the next couple of weeks, Diane and her staff cleaned, arranged and priced everything that was to be sold. Diane made a very stressful and emotional time much easier to bear. They are honest, caring professionals you can trust.”

Cassidy is an integral supporter of the community, as she has volunteered on the Board of Directors El Paso de Robles Area Historical Society, CASA San Luis Obispo, The Citizens Corps, and many more organizations rooted in event planning and fundraising.
