Downtown Paso Robles welcomes new wine and art venue
Tasting gallery features rotating exhibits, music, and creative activities
– A new tasting gallery combining wine tasting, fine art, live entertainment, and hands-on creative experiences has opened in Downtown Paso Robles.
Art of the Vineyard Tasting Gallery, located at 840 13th St., Suite A, at the corner of 13th and Pine streets, is now open Wednesday through Monday from 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays are available by appointment. The venue also offers extended hours during live music performances, open mic nights, and special events.
The 1,500-square-foot venue features Carmody McKnight Wines, the Gary Conway Art Gallery, live music, open mic nights, painting and craft kits, creative games, and artwork available for purchase from local, national, and international artists.
The tasting gallery includes table and couch seating, a wine tasting bar, and rotating fine art exhibits featuring paintings, wearable art, and sculpture.
“Art of the Vineyard was created to offer something truly different for Paso Robles visitors and locals alike—a place where people can enjoy exceptional wines while being surrounded by creativity and community,” General Manager Mark Elterman said. “We wanted to build a destination that feels welcoming, memorable, and alive with energy.”
The venue also offers a Collectors Club featuring wine shipments of Carmody McKnight Wines with fine art labels, as well as access to limited-edition prints and original artwork by Gary Conway and other featured artists.

“Wine and art both begin with vision, craftsmanship, and passion,” Gary Carmody Conway said. “Bringing these worlds together in Paso Robles is a dream realized, and we love sharing it with everyone who walks through our doors.”
According to the business, the tasting gallery combines wine tasting, art exhibitions, live entertainment, art experiences, and community gatherings.
Carmody McKnight Wines is based in West Paso Robles and owned by Gary Carmody Conway and Marian McKnight Conway. The winery originated from a vineyard planted in the Adelaida District in the 1980s.
