Downtown SLO to host inaugural Fall Fest September 29
Event will serve as a fundraiser for the Friends of Downtown SLO
– Downtown SLO will host its inaugural Fall Fest: Cider, Beer, & Spirits Stroll on Sunday, Sept. 29. Ticketholders can sample drinks and small bites from local breweries, cideries, distilleries, and restaurants while shopping, socializing, and enjoying live music. The event will serve as a fundraiser for the Friends of Downtown SLO, with net proceeds from the silent auction benefiting Downtown SLO’s Clean & Safe Program, which aims to create a welcoming downtown environment.
The stroll will take place from 5 to 7:30 p.m., followed by a special Terrace Reception from 7:30 to 8 p.m. Tickets are available for $110 per person at my805tix.com/e/FallFest until sold out. This event is strictly for those 21 and older, and IDs will be checked.
During the stroll, attendees can explore downtown San Luis Obispo retailers and boutiques while enjoying seasonal flavors from local beverage and food providers. A variety of hard ciders, craft beers, and distilled spirits will be available at downtown shops, along with small bites. Local musicians will perform at various stops throughout the event.
Participating downtown retailers include B. Anthony & Co Jewelers, Blackwater, Blue Harvest Apparel, Euphoria, Fanny Wrappers Lingerie, French Quarter, Gaia’s Gallery, Hands Gallery, HumanKind Fair Trade, Junk Girls, Making SLO, Open Air Flowers, Pippa & Ky, Stephen Patrick Design & Bladerunner Salon, Summerland Co, and Under the Willow.
Beverages and bites will be provided by 805 Beer, Baby Bear Biscuits, Central Coast Brewing, Firestone Walker Brewing Company, Hotel San Luis Obispo, Krobar Distillery, Novo Restaurant & Lounge, Proof & Gather Baking Co, Rod & Hammer, Seeds, Shindig Cider, SLO Cider Co, and Two Broads Ciderworks. Live musicians performing include Jineanne Coderre, Jon Millsap, Kahonukai Boro, and Kenny Taylor.
Throughout the stroll, guests can visit the Terrace Lounge on Court Street, sponsored by the San Luis Obispo Collection. The Lounge will feature silent auction items donated by downtown businesses and community partners, a photo booth from Kramer Events, live music, and comfortable lounge furniture.

After the stroll, attendees are invited back to Court Street Terrace for the closing reception from 7:30 to 8 p.m., where final silent auction bids will be placed, winners will be announced, and the evening will be celebrated with emcee Suzanne Schonig from The Krush 92.5.
Check-in will occur adjacent to Seeds (1040 Court Street) from 4:45 to 6 p.m. Ticketholders will receive a tasting pint, a map of locations, and a wristband for access to all tasting locations.
