Driver strikes power pole, is arrested for DUI
–A traffic collision closed Spring Street from 9th to 10th St. Wednesday night, according to the Paso Robles Police.
The collision occurred in the 900 block of Spring Street. A vehicle collided with a telephone pole causing unsafe conditions, the police say.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested for DUI. The collision caused lines to hang extremely low. Spring Street was closed from 9th to 10th while the police awaited the power company’s arrival to repair the pole / low hanging wires.
The roadway has since been reopened.
