Drum circle signups now being accepted
Drum circle will be held on March 18
–The City of Paso Robles will be hosting a drum circle on Friday, March 18, starting at 7 p.m. Sign-ups for this free program begin March 1.
A drum circle is any group of people playing hand drums and other percussion instruments in a circle. Participants can bring their own drums or use ones provided.
The circle will be lead by Marian Kaser. Kaser is a music therapist with degrees in Music Education and Music Therapy and an advanced degree in Creative Arts Therapy. She has worked as a music therapist and piano instructor for all ages, and has lead Drum Circles using the Arthur Hull model. Marian believes in active involvement when creating music and finds drumming to be “invaluable as a means to self-expression; group connection; and emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being.”
