DUI checkpoint held at Niblick Road 

–The Paso Robles Police Department conducted a DUI/Driver’s License Checkpoint on Niblick Road Monday night.

The checkpoint operated on westbound Niblick at Redeemer Baptist Church. The police used the church parking lot to question and test drivers of interest.

Funding for the checkpoint was provided to the Paso Robles Police Department by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

As of 9 p.m. Monday night, no drivers had been arrested for impaired driving, but several had been cited for driving without a license.

The checkpoint operated on Niblick Road just east of Country Club from 6 p.m. Monday until 1 a.m. Tuesday morning.
