– Registration is open for the 41st Annual Cuesta College Central Coast Writers’ Conference, with early bird pricing available through July 10 for the event scheduled for Sept. 26 and 27 at Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo.
“Conference attendees will have access to 45+ presenters sharing expert advice across numerous genres, including poetry, memoir, fiction, marketing, publishing, screenwriting, and more,” Central Coast Writers’ Conference Director Meagan Friberg said. “If you haven’t already registered to attend, now is the time. Our Early Bird rate of just $250 is truly a bargain!”
Brooke Warner, publisher, author, and motivational writing coach, will serve as the opening keynote speaker. Rob Edwards, screenwriter, director and producer, will deliver the closing keynote.
The conference will also include master classes and pitch and critique sessions available for a separate fee. A teen program has been added to this year’s event. Attendees will have opportunities to meet other writers and explore bookstore and vendor offerings.
“The conference is designed for writers from all walks of life,” Friberg said. “Our Early Bird registration special is a great opportunity for writers to secure their spot at a lower rate while also demonstrating a commitment to their growth and storytelling journey.”
Registration details and a list of presenters are available at CentralCoastWritersConference.com. Scholarships are available on a limited basis.
The Cuesta College Central Coast Writers’ Conference is presented by Cuesta Community College, Kindle Direct Publishing, the Rotary Passport Club of the Central Coast, Chevron, SLO NightWriters and Launch My Book.
