Edward Anthony Nolan III dies at 83 

– Edward Anthony Nolan, III born in 1934 in San Francisco, passed away on August 6, 2017 at the age of 83 at his home in Atascadero. Ed Nolan was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, LaDona, and his brother Michael. Survived by children Elizabeth (Jens Schutt), Nancy Etzel (Leon) and Daniel (Pam), grandchildren Emily and Nolan Etzel, Rachel and Natalie Nolan, dear friend and companion, Lorraine Regan, sister Anne Dowd, brother Gerald Nolan, beloved dog Chance.

Ed graduated from Serra High School, College of San Mateo and University of San Francisco. He served 2 years in the U.S. Army and worked for PG&E for 32 years. Ed was an Atascadero High School Booster Club member and part of the football chain gang. He was the life of the party, avid 49er fan and dedicated family man. Ed will be deeply missed.

Family and friends are invited to a Mass at 10 a.m. on August 25 at Mission San Miguel Arcángel in San Miguel followed by a celebration at the Mission Parish Hall.
