Elementary student taken to hospital after minor accident 

– Thursday morning, at approximately 8 a.m., a Pat Butler Elementary student was walking to school when he was clipped by the bumper of a car, according to a report from the school.

The student received immediate attention from the district safety team and paramedics before being transported to Twin Cities Hospital. The student is being treated for minor injuries and there is no additional information available at this time.

The district said that they will continue to provide the necessary support for the student and the family and has deployed additional support staff and counselors for the students and staff at Pat Butler.
