–98.1 KJUG Back to School Bash featuring Eli Young Band, Drake White and The Big Fire, and A Thousand Horses perform at the Vina Robles Amphitheatre on Saturday, August 26.

Eli Young Band kicked off summer with brand new music, marking their first single on The Valory music Co. and continuing their evolution with Big Machine Label Group. Their refreshing “Saltwater Gospel” is quickly making waves with airplay at County radio nationwide and across SiriusXM’s The Highway and No Shoes Radio ahead of the June 27 add date. With soul-cleansing lyrics and a catchy melodic flow, “Saltwater Gospel” is destined to follow the impressive trajectory of EYB’s previous PLATINUM and MULTI-PLATINUM chart-toppers: “Drunk Last Night,” “Even If It Breaks Your Heart” and “Crazy Girl.” Their last album 10,000 TOWNS ranked #1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart, landed a coveted Top 5 spot on the Billboard 200 and claimed the top spot on the iTunes Country Albums chart. EYB’s hit singles have been awarded Billboard’s #1 Country Song of the Year and ACM Song of the Year, in addition to garnering EYB numerous nominations from GRAMMY, CMA, CMT, ACA and Teen Choice Awards. The talented foursome is currently debuting music for fans at festivals across the country and recording a new album with producers Ross Copperman and Jeremy Stover in Nashville. Drake White’s debut album SPARK (Dot Records) immediately shot to No. 1 on the iTunes Top Country Albums chart upon its release and has earned praise from critics and fans alike. The 2016 Taste of Country Fan Choice Awards Album of the Year is a 12-track labor of love that showcases his exemplary songwriting with a rock-infused, organic Country sound and signature foot-stomp. His highly-anticipated single, “Makin’ Me Look Good Again” recently impacted Country radio which follows his Top 15 hit “Livin’ The Dream.” Dubbed CBS.com’s “Artist of Tomorrow,” Drake continues to stun crowds with his incredible live show and soulful voice. Backed by his band The Big Fire, Drake has previously toured with Superstars including Willie Nelson, Dierks Bentley, Little Big Town, Eric Church, Toby Keith and more. It is no wonder that the Alabama native was featured in Entertainment Weekly’s New Artists Who Will Rule 2017, Rolling Stone’s 10 Country Artists You Need To Know as well as Billboard’s Hot New Country Artists to Watch and was recently chosen as one of the CRS New Faces for 2017. Major corporations have also taken notice of White’s talent with Geico showcasing his song “Heartbeat” in their current national television commercial featuring Dallas Cowboy’s tight end Jason Witten. A Thousand Horses dubbed “Country’s coolest band” by Rolling Stone Country, A Thousand Horses serve up a helping of Southern rock and contemporary Country mixed with rowdy jams. Their working-man’s anthem “Preachin’ to the Choir” is currently at Country radio and follows their successful debut “Smoke.” The chart-topping track made Country Aircheck history as the highest debut for a new artist and solidified the band (with at least three members) as the first this decade to score a No. 1 with their first single on the Billboard Country Airplay Chart. A Thousand Horses have scored multiple award show nominations, most recently vying for the title of ACM New Vocal Duo or Group at the 52nd Annual ACM Awards. The band’s first album on BMLG Records, Southernality, blends Southern Rock and influential sounds of The Black Crowes and Rolling Stones’ Exile on Main Street era. The talented foursome soars with Michael Hobby on lead vocals as Bill Satcher and Zach Brown on guitar and Graham Deloach on bass round out their unique grooves.
