–Elizabeth “Betty” Rose Sharber, 92, departed from us on October 18, 2017. Betty was born on September 24, 1925, in St. Louis, Mo. Betty’s family left St. Louis and moved to Los Angeles, Calif. She met her husband, Bill, there while he was serving in the U.S. Army. They eventually moved to Dallas, Texas after he was discharged and started their family. Years later they returned to California to live and stay. Betty and Bill had three children: Pam Kronenberger (Fred) of San Miguel; Bob Sharber (Linda) of Eugene, Ore.; and Mary Kanton (Paul) of Paso Robles; grand- children: Heather Alpach (Michael), Matt Kronenberger and Jason, Carl and Jana Sharber; and numerous great- grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Billie Ray Sharber; and grandson, Chris Kanton. Burial was on Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at San Fernando Mission Cemetery, Mission Hills, Calif. Arrangements under the direction of Kuehl-Nicolay Funeral Home, Paso Robles.
