Embroider lovebirds for Valentine’s Day at the library

–Ana Castillo, author of Black Dove, this year’s Cuesta Book of the Year Selection, is both a highly regarded author and an artist recognized for her distinctive drawing and painting style.

This month’s Make It @ the Library! series event, on Saturday, February 2, 2019, 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 pm., will capture Castillo’s drawing style with embroidery thread. “Using satin stitch and back stitch, we will embroider lovebirds,” says Karen Christiansen, Adult Services Librarian, “a perfect gift for someone special this Valentine’s Day.”

All supplies for this class will be provided free of charge. For more information, contact Karen Christiansen at (805) 237-3870. Registration is required. Visit http://www.prcity.com/246/Classes-Events to sign up. Space is limited. This class is for ages 16+. Due to the nature of the tools and materials used, children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

The Paso Robles City Library is located at 1000 Spring Street and is open Monday – Friday 10-8, and Saturday 10-5. For more information on library programs and events, please call (805) 237-3870 or visit www.prcity.com/library.
