Emily Reneau named CEO, President of Atascadero Chamber of Commerce
–The Atascadero Chamber of Commerce is excited to welcome Emily Reneau as CEO & President. Reneau steps in as acting CEO & President for the Chamber on April 23. At that time, Vicki Lee, current Interim CEO & President, will return to her position as Vice President of Operations for the Atascadero Chamber.
“I am thrilled to work with people who care about the community and enhance the fabulous work that is already in place. Atascadero has so much to offer and I look forward to empowering our business community,” said Reneau.
Reneau is a longtime Central California local, having lived in the area for twenty-three years. She most recently was working with HM Holloway in the role of Business Development Associate. She opened their Paso Robles office and coordinated outreach and marketing efforts for the organization’s three regional offices in Central California. She also brings experience from her time as the Business Development Director for the American Heart Association. During that time, she initiated a new heart walk and luncheon in North County, as well as managed existing events helping raise over $150,000 annually for the organization.
Reneau discovered her passion for working alongside community when she worked in Southern California with the Walt Disney Company in Community Relations for the expansion project for the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim.
“It was there that I fell in love with working for a community and local businesses, as I worked closely with the City and the Anaheim Chamber of Commerce,” said Reneau.
Angela Cisneros, 2019 Chair of the Atascadero Chamber Board and General Manager at K.Jons Diamonds & Gems in Atascadero, on behalf of the Atascadero Chamber Board of Directors had this to say.
“We are excited to have Emily Reneau as our incoming CEO. She brings with her great experience in leading a non-profit paired with a drive to see OUR Chamber be the best it can be. As a long-time resident of the North County, Emily has a passion for the community, and she succeeds wherever she directs that energy to,” said Cisneros.
Reneau will join the Business Mixer at the Atascadero Chamber from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on April 18. The Atascadero Chamber is located at 6907 El Camino Real, Atascadero. The community is encouraged to stop by and meet Reneau during this time.
