More endorsements pouring in for re-election of Sheriff Ian Parkinson

San Luis Obispo County Sheriff Ian Parkinson.

Parkinson garners official support from unions, business organizations, law enforcement associations and individuals, and others

–The Southwest Regional Council of Carpenters Local Union 1800 and Prevention of Substance Abuse For Youth (POSAFY) have officially endorsed Sheriff Ian Parkinson for re-election.

According to the endorsement letter to Sheriff Parkinson from POSAFY, “We have faith in your leadership on such difficult matters as issues pertaining to substance abuse and mental illness, as well as community education on these topics.”

These two organizations join a long list of organizations and individuals who support the re-election of Sheriff Parkinson, including:
• Sworn Deputy Sheriff’s Association (SDSA)
• San Luis Obispo Peace Officers’ Association
• San Luis Obispo County Probation Peace Officers’ Association
• Criminal Justice Administrators’ Association
• Nipomo Chamber of Commerce
• Republican Party of San Luis Obispo County
• San Luis Obispo District Attorney Dan Dow
• Santa Barbara District Attorney Joyce Dudley
• 15 current and retired Central Coast Police Chiefs
• 33 current and retired California Sheriffs
