EOD Warrior Foundation’s ‘Rockin’ Fundraiser Weekend’ happening April 3-4

EOD Warrior Foundation’s 'Rockin’ Fundraiser Weekend' happening April 3-4

Events happening at two local venues

–Every year, the EOD Warrior Foundation throws a rockin’ two-day fundraiser/party in Paso Robles. EOD stands for Explosive Ordnance Disposal, which means the disarming and disposal of bombs; one of the hardest jobs in the military. The foundation provides financial assistance and support to active duty, reserve, and retired EOD technicians and their families.

This year’s kickoff event happens Friday, April 3, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Barrelhouse Brewing in Paso Robles. The event is open to the public. This is the fourth year Barrelhouse has joined forces with Tackitt Family Vineyards for this pre-party. Local party band Erin and the Earthquakes will bring their electrifying mix of rock, dance, pop and soul to entertain the crowd from the back of the Barrelhouse truck stage. Barrelhouse will donate $1 from every beer sold that night to the EODWF.

The main event, on Saturday, April 4 from 11 a.m.- 6 p.m. at Tackitt Family Vineyards in Paso Robles will feature wood-fired pizzas, skeet shooting, and music by The Wine Country Troubadours and Erin and the Earthquakes. Participants are invited to work a real winery “bottling line” while enjoying beer, wine, and music. Wine bottled during the event is later sold to further support the EODWF. Tickets for this event sell out fast, so visit http://bit.ly/TFVWHWIX for tickets or www.tackittfamilyvineyards.com for more information.
