Estella Brown dies at 93 

how to write an obituary–Estella Brown passed away on Feb. 27, 2018. Estella Brown was born on Mar. 2, 1925, in Okmulgee, Okla. to Richard and Luella Booker. She was one of thirteen children. Her parents and all of her siblings have preceded her in death.

She resided in Paso Robles in San Luis Obispo County, for many years, where she raised her seven children and worked as a cook for Smith’s Restaurant, Vic’s Café and the Paso Robles Elks Lodge. She was a long-time member of the Second Baptist Church until she retired. Upon her retirement, in the late 1980’s, she moved to Fairfield and became a member of the Revival Center Ministries until her passing.

She is survived by five of her seven children; Tina Jones of Fairfield, Larry Brown of Paso Robles, Vivian Barraza of Fairfield, Vera Harris of Fairfield and Marecia Brooks of Dixon. Her eldest son, Herbert and her youngest son, Vernon preceded her in death. She has 33 great-grandchildren and 17 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends and is loved by all.

Homegoing services will be on Mar. 16, 2018, at 11 a.m. at the Revival Center Ministries, 910 Tennessee Street, Vallejo, CA 94590. Repass to follow at the Vallejo Women’s Club, 200 Valle Vista, Vallejo, CA 94590.
