The Paso Robles Event Center has donated six sets of 100-seat bleachers to the City of Paso Robles and moved the bleachers from the event center to city property on Thursday.

“The city is grateful to the Paso Robles Event Center for their generous donation of bleachers,” said Public Works Director Dick McKinley. “These bleachers will provide seating for hundreds of family members who are enjoying youth sports.”

The bleachers were moved via flatbed trailer, which caused a brief interruption in traffic on Riverside Avenue and Creston Road Thursday morning. They were placed into their new home at Sherwood Park.

The bleachers came from an area of the event center that is currently being remodeled and have an approximate value of $4,000 to $5,000 each.
