Experience the Wonders of Bonaire!

bonaire

Bonaire is a place that stands out from all the rest. Here, less is more. The air locals breathe is pure. The only sound for miles is the rustling of palm leaves in the trade winds, and the people radiate warmth like the sun under our idyllic blue sky.

There, nature and humans live in harmony. Bonaire’s local community nourishes their island, and it returns the favor. And although they want to protect it with all our might, they want to share their paradise with travelers from around the world to explore their magnificent coasts. Why? Simply because it is in their welcoming nature.

When planning to visit Bonaire, be aware of the newly imposed Bonaire entry tax on all visitors over the age of 12. It was issued to fund various tourism-related initiatives on the island, such as the maintenance and development of the marine park, promotion of the island as a tourist destination, and support for local cultural events and festivals.

Are you ready to discover the many treasures Bonaire has to offer? The diverse island has something for everyone, with a variety of daring adventures, peaceful moments, majestic sights, delicious food, and of course, the remarkable underwater world – all spread across this one Caribbean jewel.

Dive Right In! Bonaire is known as a diving paradise where you can dive 24 hours a day, seven days a week! Bonaire is generally blessed with trade winds – winds that blow from the east – which means the west coast is protected from strong waves and currents. And do you know what that means? Divers can enjoy up to 86 (!!) official dive sites, including Klein Bonaire, with calm water in an unspoiled environment! Isn’t that fantastic?

Most of the official dive sites on Bonaire are easily accessible from the shore. All you have to do is look for the yellow rocks, park your car, put on your gear, enter the water, and enjoy! To discover the dive sites on Klein Bonaire, you will have to reach them by boat, which is also a great and exciting experience.

As soon as you enter the water, you will fall in love. Upon diving, feeling the pleasantly cool water, and lightly swimming towards the descent point, you will see an abundance of life. Within the protected marine park of Bonaire, there are hundreds of species of fish and 50+ species of soft and hard corals. You will find that each dive site has unique characteristics that set it apart from the others and make you want to discover them all!
