    Fall Out Boy to perform at Mid-State Fair

    –The California Mid-State Fair announced Friday night that rock superstars Fall Out Boy have been confirmed to perform in concert on opening night of the 2016 Mid-State Fair, Wednesday, July 20 at 7:30 p.m. The concert is part of the annual Bud Light Concert Series and will take place in the Grandstand Arena at the Paso Robles Event Center.

    Ticket prices for the show are $36, $46, $56 and $81 and will go on sale Friday, March 4, 2016. Tickets will be available starting at 10 a.m. online at www.MidStateFair.com or by calling 1-800-909-FAIR, and at 1 p.m. at the California Mid-State Fair box office, located at 2198 Riverside Avenue in Paso Robles or any ValliTix location.

    Fall Out Boy – who just won Favorite Artist: Alternative Rock at the 2015 American Music Awards, Best Rock Video at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards,Best Alternative Band at the 2014 People’s Choice Awards and was nominated for Top Rock Artist and Top Rock Song at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards – have cemented their position as one of rock music’s biggest-selling bands.

    Their Gold, sixth studio album American Beauty/American Psycho debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 and peaked at #1 on iTunes in more than 22 countries upon its Jan. 20, 2015 release. The album – released on Island Records & DCD2 Records – debuted with more than 218,000 units consumed.

    The 2016 California Mid-State Fair runs July 20 through July 31. This year’s theme is “The Adventure Continues…”
