Families invited for ‘Pajama Drama’ at the library

library paso robles–Families of all ages are invited to participate in the Pyjama Drama Interactive Theater’s performance of “Aliens in the Attic!” on Tuesday, June 25, at either 10:30 a.m. at the Georgia Brown Multipurpose Room or 2:30 p.m. at the City Library.

“Pyjama Drama brings imaginative play to our youngest patrons in a fun and welcoming environment,” says Youth Services Librarian Melissa Bailey, “Studies show that dramatic play benefits young children in a number of ways besides the obvious confidence and creativity development. Drama participation helps develop language and communication skills, teaches cooperation and patience, and supports emotional intelligence and physical development. Pyjama Drama’s Interactive Theater program may look like silly fun, but participants will be growing and learning while playing pretend.”

Free tickets are required for the 2:30 p.m. program in the Library and will be available at the Children’s Desk 30 minutes prior to the program at the library. They are not required for the 10:30 a.m. Library Study Center program. For more information about children’s programming, visit prcity.com/library.

The Paso Robles City Library is located at 1000 Spring Street and is open Monday – Friday 10-8, and Saturday 10-5. For more information on library programs and events, please call (805) 237-3870 or visit www.prcity.com/library.
