Fantasy author to appear at Paso Robles bookstore to celebrate new release
Author conversation, Q&A, and book signing scheduled March 28
– Local New York Times-bestselling author Kalyn Josephson will celebrate the release of her new fantasy novel, “The Library of Amorlin,” with an event at Spare Time Books in Paso Robles on March 28.
Josephson, who grew up in San Luis Obispo, writes children’s and young adult fantasy fiction and recently released the adult fantasy novel, which has reached the USA Today bestseller list.
“The Library of Amorlin is, at its heart, an ode to stories,” Josephson explained. “I wanted to write a book for adults that made them feel the same way their favorite stories from childhood did: like anything was possible, and magic was just around the corner.”
The event will take place at 6:30 p.m. at Spare Time Books. Josephson will appear in conversation with fantasy author Shannon Price to discuss fantasy books and writing craft. A question-and-answer session and book signing will follow. Books will be available for sale.
The event is free and open to all ages.
Spare Time Books is located at 945 12th St., Suite C, in Paso Robles.
