–Last week, Justin Fareed received the endorsement of the California Cattlemen’s Association (CCA). In a letter announcing the endorsement, CCA President Dave Daly said, “With your legislative and small business experience, as well as your commitment to agriculture, the ranching community would be proud to have you as our representative and our ally in the halls of Congress.”

Justin made the following statement: “As a third-generation California rancher, I am honored to have the support of such an esteemed organization.”

As a cattleman himself, Fareed says he recognizes the importance of Central Coast Agriculture and the promotion of the growth and commerce of this $3.8 billion industry that brings more 40,000 jobs to our region alone. Fareed said, “I am firmly committed to presenting solutions in Washington that help create jobs on the Central Coast and to reining-in burdensome regulations to afford family farmers and ranchers the opportunity to thrive. Send me to Washington and I’ll be your workhorse and a fresh voice for our Central Coast Values.”

Justin Fareed is a candidate for California’s 24th Congressional District. He also is President of a local small business, Proband Sports Industries and is a third-generation cattle rancher. He graduated from UCLA with a degree in Political Science and worked for a senior member of Congress where he handled various matters pertaining to foreign relations, small business, agriculture, commerce, manufacturing and trade, drafted and coordinated the movement of legislation, and built bi-partisan consensus on Capitol Hill.
