Farmstead Ed to present ‘Central Coast Beef and Wine Festival’

–Farmstead Ed will present the first ever Central Coast Beef and Wine Festival, hosted by the San Luis Obispo County Cattle Women Association on Saturday, Aug. 6 from 6 – 9 p.m. at Halter Ranch Vineyard. Ranchers and producers who raise both beef and wine on their properties will be showcasing their wines alongside barbecue fare cooked-up by RFD-TV’s famed Cowboy Flavor. This event is a fundraiser for Must Charities and San Luis Obispo County Cattle Women Association’s Agricultural Scholarships.
The beef is being provided by Harris Ranch and will be prepared by famed RFD-TV cooking celebrities Billy and Sue of Cowboy Flavor. They will be preparing beef dishes featuring various cuts of meat paired alongside local wines for a unique tasting experience. Barbecue masters and San Luis Obispo County CattleWomen will be serving up and sharing “how-to” prep, cooking and other tips about beef.
All the wineries participating in the event are unique in that they all raise cattle and grow grapes. The winery participants will include Ancient Peaks Winery, B&E Vineyard, Halter Ranch Vineyard, Hearst Ranch Winery, Jack Creek Cellars, Seven Oxen Estate Wines, Vintage Cowboy Winery, and more.
