Fire contained Sunday night off of North River Road in Paso Robles
– Firefighters responded to a wildland fire near the 5500 block of North River Road in Paso Robles on Sunday night. The fire initially burned 0.5 acres and threatened one structure. Power lines were down in the area.
By 9 p.m., CAL FIRE SLO reported that the fire had expanded to 1.8 acres. The fire’s forward progress was stopped, and the threat to the structure was mitigated. Firefighters remained on the scene for mop-up operations.
The final update from CAL FIRE SLO confirmed that the fire was contained.
