Fire officials invite residents to planning workshop
Meeting will address emergency response, preparedness, staffing, and equipment
– Paso Robles Fire and Emergency Services will hold a community workshop Aug. 22 to gather input for its 2027-2032 strategic plan.
The department invites residents, business owners, community organizations, and other stakeholders to attend. The plan will guide the department’s priorities, long-term goals, and decisions over the next five years.
“Community input is an essential part of this process and helps ensure the department’s priorities reflect the needs and expectations of those we serve,” said Chief Jonathan Stornetta. “We look forward to sharing an update on our progress under the current strategic plan and listening to community members about how we can continue to provide exceptional services.”
The workshop will run from 10 a.m. to noon at the Paso Robles Public Safety Center, 900 Park St., in the Emergency Operations Center room.
Participants will learn about the current state of Paso Robles Fire and Emergency Services, share ideas, priorities, and concerns, and help identify goals for the next five years.
The strategic plan will guide decisions involving fire and emergency response, emergency medical services, community risk reduction and prevention, disaster preparedness, training and workforce development, equipment, technology, facilities, fiscal responsibility, and community partnerships.
