Fire prompts Highway 41 closure 

Fire contained at 1/3 acre

– Highway 41 was closed due to a vegetation fire near the Three Bridges trailhead last night, according to a Facebook post by the Atascadero Fire Department posted around 10 p.m.

The fire prompted a hard closure of Highway 41 in both directions. Forward progress was stopped, according to an update by the fire department at around 11 p.m., and the highway was reopened. The fire was controlled at 1/3 of an acre, with no injuries or damage to structures reported.
