Firefighter stair climb trip to Seattle postponed due to COVID-19 virus concerns

–This week, the Templeton Fire Stairclimb Team announced that they will regrettably not be traveling to Seattle this weekend to participate in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) Firefighter Stairclimb. The LLS Firefighter Stairclimb has been postponed due to concerns regarding the COVID-19 virus. This postponement not only impacts the Templeton and SLO County teams, but all Stairclimb teams domestic and internationally.

In honor of the LLS Firefighter Stairclimb, donors, and, most importantly, those in their fight against cancer, the Templeton Fire Stairclimb Team will climb at Templeton High School Volunteer Stadium on Sunday, March 8, at 9 a.m. In addition, they invite the community to come meet the climbers or even climb alongside the team as they honor the event that would have taken place at the Columbia Center in Seattle.
