Firefighters contain house fire in Paso Robles
Fire started in the kitchen of the home
–A residential structure fire was reported at 5:14 p.m. Friday at 509 wade drive in Paso Robles.
The fire reportedly began in the kitchen of the home. There were no occupants in the house at the time of the fire, according to the Paso Robles Fire and Emergency Services Department.
Three fire engines, two battalion chiefs, and a fire investigator from Paso Robles responded. Under the city’s automatic aid agreement, two fire engines and one battalion chief from Cal Fire/SLO County and one fire engine from Atascadero Fire immediately responded to assist. Additional assistance was provided by Paso Robles Police Department and the San Luis Obispo Fire Investigation Strike Team.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
