Firefighters contain Paso Robles wildland fire near Barley Grain Road
Firefighters investigate cause
– Firefighters responded to a wildland fire yesterday reported near the 2000 block of Barley Grain Road in rural Paso Robles, Cal Fire San Luis Obispo announced via social media. The fire was reported to cover an area of 50 by 50 feet initially.
In an update, Cal Fire reported that the fire had grown to 1/8 acre. Firefighters remained on the scene, mopping up hotspots for about an hour. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
A final update reported the fire’s total area at .24 acres and stated that it had been fully controlled.
