Firefighters extinguish blaze in riverbed

Late Monday evening at 10:53 p.m. the Paso Robles Fire Department was dispatched to the area of Highway 46 East and Northbound Highway 101.
When officials arrived on scene they discovered a 20-foot by 20-foot spot fire in the riverbed.
Paso Robles Police Officers were on scene as well and reported seeing two male transients walking away from the scene but could not determine if the two males were involved in the blaze.
By 11:20 p.m. the fire was extinguished.
