Firefighters stop forward progress of Paso Robles vegetation fire
Fire reaches 1.7 acres before crews stop forward progress
– Firefighters responded to a vegetation fire in grass near Remington Court and Circle B Road in Paso Robles on Sunday afternoon.
San Luis Obispo County Fire Department reported the incident around 3:30 p.m. Crews from Paso Robles City Fire, Templeton Fire, and San Miguel Fire assisted in the response.
By the time forward progress was stopped, the fire had burned approximately 1.7 acres. As of 4:30 p.m., the fire was 40 percent contained, and crews continued mopping up hot spots.
Officials asked the public to avoid the area to allow emergency personnel to work safely.
