Flamson Middle School hosting Rockin’ the Road 5K
Flamson Middle School in Paso Robles is holding a 5K race on Friday, March 18. The “Rockin’ the Road” event will begin at 9 a.m. from War Memorial Stadium. Registration starts at 8:15 a.m. for the public. The registration fee is $25 and includes a t-shirt.
This is the 15th year that Flamson Middle School has hosted the annual race. The entire campus, over 600 students in grades six to eight, will be racing that day. Students will have the opportunity to win prizes such as passes to Magic Mountain and Ravine Water Park and movie theatre gift cards, just to name a few.
The race is sponsored by the Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA). Proceeds from the race will go to support technology, music, the arts, and athletic programs. Sponsorships are also available. Contact Vickie Luna for more information: ajtluna@yahoo.com.
