Food delivery driver arrested for alleged sexual assault

Victim alleged the driver, 54-year-old Robert Earl Becker Jr., assaulted her while delivering her food order
– A delivery driver was arrested on Nov. 20 after a woman reported being sexually assaulted at her Nipomo residence the previous day, according to a press release from the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident occurred on Nov. 19 at approximately 1:30 p.m. when the woman called the sheriff’s office to report the assault. Detectives responded to her home, where she alleged the driver, identified as 54-year-old Robert Earl Becker Jr., assaulted her while delivering her order through an app-based food delivery service.
Becker had left the residence before law enforcement arrived. He was later located in Nipomo and arrested. He faces charges of assault with intent to commit rape and failure to register as a sex offender.
