    – Rose Care Group, Inc. has appointed longtime healthcare leader Alan Iftiniuk as chief executive officer and announced the expansion of services to include its sister companies, Aevum Home Health and Aevum Hospice.

The move follows the closure of Wilshire Health and Community Services, which left a gap in home health and hospice care on the Central Coast. With the additions, Rose Care Group becomes the only provider in San Luis Obispo County offering the full continuum of care, including assisted living, memory care, home health, and hospice.

“I am honored to join Rose Care Group as CEO and continue serving the Central Coast community my family and I call home,” said Iftiniuk, who previously served as president and CEO of French Hospital Medical Center. “With Wilshire’s closure, many have wondered where to turn for trusted senior care. The recent addition of home health and hospice services under their sister company, Aevum Home Health and Aevum Hospice, Rose Care Group is stepping forward as the only provider offering the full continuum of care all under one umbrella.”

Iftiniuk has more than 50 years of healthcare leadership, including two decades on the Central Coast. At Rose Care Group, he joins a team already known for boutique-style residences, safety, and a mission-driven approach to care.

“Our promise is simple but heartfelt: to combine clinical excellence with compassion, and to walk alongside every resident, patient, and family with dignity, safety, and respect,” Iftiniuk said.

Iftiniuk previously led French Hospital Medical Center from 2004 to 2023. During his tenure, the hospital achieved national recognition for quality and safety, expanded clinical services, and launched centers including the Copeland, Forbes and Rossi Cardiac Care Center, the Hearst Cancer Resource Center, and the Oppenheimer Family Center for Emergency Medicine. He also led philanthropic efforts that raised more than $58 million through the French Hospital Medical Foundation.

“Alan’s track record of building trusted healthcare institutions and his deep commitment to this community make him the perfect leader for Rose Care Group as we move into the future,” said Arpad Soo, founder and principal owner of Rose Care Group. “His values of compassion, safety, and quality care align seamlessly with our mission, and his leadership will guide our expansion of Aevum Home Health and Aevum Hospice to meet the growing needs of seniors and families across the Central Coast.”

Rose Care Group said the expansion will allow families to remain within one system of care and provide hospitals and physicians with a referral partner that can help reduce patient readmissions by keeping seniors within an integrated network.
