    – The City of Paso Robles and Travel Paso will host the annual Fourth of July celebration at Barney Schwartz Park on Friday, July 4, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

This year’s celebration will include live music by Moonshiner Collective, food trucks, family-friendly activities, free RV parking, and a fireworks show.

In March, the City and Travel Paso announced a $60,000 fundraising goal to cover event costs. That goal was surpassed in less than two months through community support.

“Local businesses and community partners see the value in this cherished tradition,” said Freda Berman, public works director with the City of Paso Robles. “Our fundraising goal was met in record time, and now we can focus on planning an incredible day to celebrate our nation’s birthday. We hope families will plan now to spend the holiday in Paso Robles.”

Event planning is ongoing, and organizers are seeking volunteers. Volunteers must be 18 or older and available for at least a two-hour shift on July 4 between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. All volunteers will receive a t-shirt, a complimentary meal, and reserved parking. Volunteer duties will include lake monitor, parking lot attendant, and access control monitor.

“Our contribution provides a foundation, but it’s the remarkable collaboration of our local businesses and the team at the city that makes great things happen in our community,” said Stacie Jacob, president and CEO of Travel Paso. “We’re honored to help create these meaningful moments and look forward to celebrating alongside both neighbors and visitors alike.”

The city encourages families to bring blankets, enjoy the food offerings, and take in the fireworks display. More information is available through the City of Paso Robles.
