A new book about the Children’s Museum is available to borrow for free from the Paso Robles City Library and northern County of San Luis Libraries. While this book is checked out it allows the family to visit the Paso Robles Children’s Museum as often as they would like for free. Just bring the book along with you and enjoy some great family playtime.

“We are really thrilled about this new library book program”, said Jennifer Smith, Executive Director of the Children’s Museum. “The book is a great way to reach out to more kids and families and get them into the Museum for some interactive family playtime which is so valuable to a child’s development,” added Smith. She went on to say “it’s always great when we can partner with other educational groups and we are excited to work with the county and city libraries to bring this new program to the families in our community.”

“We are thrilled to be able to partner with the Paso Robles Children’s Museum,” said County of San Luis Obispo librarian Margaret Kensinger-Klopfer. “Through this amazing partnership we hope to increase access to valuable cultural institutions for all of our families in the North County. The museum is a natural partner for libraries, as we both care so much about the children we serve in our community.”

“We are so excited to be able to partner with the Paso Robles Children’s Museum to offer our families a way to experience this wonderfully interactive place of discovery just two blocks from the Library!” said Paso Robles City Library’s Youth Services Librarian, Melissa Bailey. “Many families are familiar with the early literacy advertising campaign advising them to “Talk, Read, Sing” with their children, but just as important is play! Children learn so much through play and the Children’s Museum is the perfect place for families to play together, creating opportunities to build early literacy skills while having fun at the same time.”
