–Paso Robles Joint Unified School District on Monday announced a change in its free meal program that’s offered while schools are closed during the COVID-19 pandemic. The district “is dedicated to serving the needs of our students and communities, while also ensuring the safety of our employees and continuing to practice social distancing,” a district statement said.
“In an effort to continue to provide a hot, nutritious meal to our students in a safe and sustainable manner, we will be changing the locations of our meal distribution sites.”
Beginning Tuesday, March 24, the district will be distributing meals at two locations:
- Paso Robles High School 801 Niblick Road
- Paso Robles Culinary Arts Academy 1900 Golden Hill Rd
“We will continue to provide a breakfast for the following day and a hot lunch for the current day Monday-Friday from 11:00-1:00. If transportation is an issue for your family and you would like access to these meals, please email jmwilliams@pasoschools.org,” the statement said.
