Gala to raise funds for cancer patients in need
Nashville songwriters to perform at SabesWings cancer benefit gala
– SabesWings, founded by 1985 World Series MVP Bret Saberhagen and his wife Kandace, is excited to announce the return of its annual “Strike Out Medical Financial Toxicity” (MFT) event on Oct. 5-6, 2024. The event, dedicated to helping cancer patients with medical and household expenses, will feature exclusive wine tastings, a gala dinner, musical performances, and a charity golf tournament.
SabesWings has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars annually to support cancer patients in financial need. This year’s event will continue that tradition with performances from Nashville songwriters Kelley Lovelace and Neil Thrasher, who have penned hits for Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, and more.
