Gary Brian Stanfield, 39, of Paso Robles dies
Gary Brian Stanfield, 39, of Paso Robles, made his transition in the home of our Lord on July 15, 2018, after massive brain infection.
He served his country for 20 years, including in Iraq, and had just retired in February 2017 from the National Guard to go to college.
Gary was an avid guitar player and wrote music. He loved to perform at open mic nights. He played in many establishments around town. Everyone that knew him loved him; he will be missed by many.
He is survived by his mother, Nanette Negrete Roe, his stepfather (Dad) Ed Roe, brother Keith Stanfield, sister Brook Fontes; his daughters Kiara Stanfield and Garycee Stanfield; brother-in-law Luis Corona, sister-in-law Andrea Stanfield, grandmother Veda Annunziato; aunt Jill Kidd, uncle Gordon Kidd, cousin James Blake (US Army retired), cousin Arthur Martin (US Navy retired ), many more cousins; and all of his wonderful extended family, friends and coworkers.
There will be a graveside service for him at Templeton Cemetery with full military honors on Saturday, July 28, at 10 a.m. Friends of the family are asked to bring blankets to sit. A chapel service will be held Friday, July 27 at Camp Roberts.
