Georgia Brown Dual Immersion School to hold ribbon cutting for new playground

Ceremony scheduled March 13 at Paso Robles campus

    – Georgia Brown Dual Immersion School will celebrate the grand opening of its new playground with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, March 13, at 2 p.m. at the school campus, according to a press release from the Paso Robles Joint Unified School District.

Students, families, staff members, and community members are invited to attend the celebration and view the new play space that will serve students at the school.

The new playground was funded through Measure M, the local school bond approved by Paso Robles voters to improve facilities across campuses in the Paso Robles Joint Unified School District.

The project provides Georgia Brown students with a play environment designed to support physical activity, social development, and outdoor learning.

The playground includes climbing structures, slides, and interactive play elements intended to encourage exploration, movement, and cooperative play among students. The space provides opportunities for students to build friendships, develop motor skills, and spend time outdoors during recess and other school activities.

Georgia Brown Dual Immersion School serves students in a bilingual learning environment that emphasizes academic achievement, cultural understanding, and community connections. The new playground expands the campus environment and provides a space where students can play and participate in school activities outdoors.

Community members may attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony and celebration alongside students and staff.
