Gil Stork to speak at Warbirds Museum monthly dinner meeting
–The next monthly dinner meeting for the Estrella Warbirds Museum will host Dr. Gil Stork, the retired CEO of Cuesta College.
His connection to aviation is that in 1960 when he was a football player for Cal Poly he was a passenger in a chartered C-46 that crashed on takeoff from Toledo, Ohio killing 22 people including 16 of his classmates. He will explain how the aircraft accident influenced his life.
