Girl Scouts, children’s museum to host free community event
Girl Scouts of California’s Central Coast serves over 8,000 girls and adult volunteers in the region
– The Paso Robles Children’s Museum and the Cuesta Del Norte Service Unit of Girl Scouts of California’s Central Coast will host a free community event on March 20 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the museum, located at 623 13th St. in Paso Robles.
The event is open to girls of all ages and their families. Girls must be accompanied by an adult.
Attendees will have access to free playtime throughout the museum and the opportunity to meet current Girl Scouts and local troop leaders. Families can learn about how to join Girl Scouts, and giveaways will be available. Scholarships for Girl Scout memberships are available.
“This event is a wonderful opportunity for families to see firsthand what Girl Scouts is all about,” said Joanna Maxted, event organizer and Paso Robles Children’s Museum board member. “Girls will have the chance to explore, play, meet new friends, and learn how they can become part of a supportive community that encourages leadership, creativity, and service.”
The Cuesta Del Norte Service Unit serves the north county region of San Luis Obispo County and supports more than 100 local Girl Scouts and volunteers. Girl Scouts of California’s Central Coast serves over 8,000 girls and adult volunteers across Santa Cruz, San Benito, Monterey, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties.
Families are welcome to arrive at any time during the event. Advance registration is available here.
